Honesdale High School Pottery
Beginning on Saturday, January 16th, 2010 our own Honesdale High School students exhibited a selection of pottery at the Philip Hone Gallery.
"Each year, as I say good-bye to all the wonderfully creative seniors, I don't give a thought as to who is coming into my class next...I just know I'll miss the ones who are going" explains Ellen Silberlicht, the pottery teacher at Honesdale High School. "But this year, my new students have been exceptional! There are so many who possess great talent and creativity. It's been a joy to work with them and see their ideas develop as they learn new techniques." In the arts, as the creativity is stirred each year, the talent rises to the top and shines. On display at the Philip Hone Gallery, from Jan. 16th through Feb. 11th you may enjoy the wonderful pottery from our local Honesdale High School students.
Ellen Silberlicht is an amazing artist, who diligently dedicates herself to the students unconditionally lighting a passion for the arts "to our youth!"
Her eye for talent and heart is unmatched!
I hope you take the time to support her talented students. Come see the future Artists of Honesdale and help inspire their futures!
